Star Hydraulic Equipments Co is tucked away behind number 51 on G. B. Road, near the Ajmeri Gate side. It’s Shop 5345, and we are right near the MCD school. You can usually hear the kids during their break times while we are working on hydraulic parts. We deal with a lot of heavy metal pieces and oily components. It’s not the cleanest job, but it’s what we do. We spend most of our time at the workbench or checking the seals on different pieces of equipment. The shop is a bit hidden, so most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years or were told where to find us. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It's more of a functional space for fixing and selling hydraulic gear. The air usually smells a bit like machine oil. We keep a ledger of all the parts we have, though sometimes it takes a minute to find the smaller valves in the bins. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the school and the busy road nearby. We don't do anything fancy. We just focus on getting the equipment sorted so people can get back to their own work. It's a steady routine of grease, metal, and heavy lifting every day. We've been here for years now and just keep doing our thing. It's enough for us.
