Agarwal & Co.

Agarwal & Co. is located at 31 Arya Nagar. We are right behind Mother’s School, so we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day long. It is a fairly quiet street otherwise. Our office is an old building that has been in the family for a long time. It is filled with wooden cabinets and old desks that have seen better days. We don’t really do the whole modern office thing with glass walls. We prefer it this way. Most of our work involves a lot of paperwork and talking to people over the phone. We trade in various goods and handle the logistics of moving them around. It is mostly about building relationships with the people we buy from and sell to. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s families. Sometimes customers just stop by for a cup of tea and a chat, even if they don’t have an order to place. We don’t have a mission statement or a fancy logo on the wall. We just show up at nine, do the work, and go home to our families in the evening. The school next door keeps us on a schedule. When the final bell rings, we know it is almost time to wrap things up. It is a steady, predictable life here in Arya Nagar and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
