We are located at 5271, Main Shardhanand Marg, which most everyone knows as G.B. Road. Acme Transmission (India) Pvt. Ltd. has its home in one of the older buildings in this very crowded part of the city. It is a place that never really sleeps, with people and carts moving about at all hours. Our shop is filled with various mechanical parts and gears for transmissions. It is quite cramped inside because we have to store so much inventory in a small space. The walls are old and the ceiling is high, but the whole place is a bit dark and dusty. We don't have a polished showroom with fancy carpets. Our floor is hard concrete and usually has a bit of grease on it from the parts we handle. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we have seen the street change quite a bit, though it is still as busy as ever. Most of our day is spent talking to customers over the counter or searching through the stacks for a specific gear. It gets very hot in the summer months, and the noise from the street is constant. We don't use any slick marketing phrases or have a big corporate mission. We just sell parts to people who need them and try to keep our books in order. It’s a tough environment but it’s where we’ve always been.
