We’ve been here at 105 Nehru Nagar for a good while now. It’s just a regular spot, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Most days start with opening up the shutters and making sure the dust hasn't settled too thick on the desks. We have a couple of old chairs that creak when you sit down, but they do the job. The street outside gets pretty loud around noon when the local tea stall picks up. We usually just keep our heads down and get through the paperwork. Achal and Amit started this because it felt like the right thing to do at the time. There’s a stack of ledgers in the corner that we really should organize better one of these days. My phone rings mostly in the afternoons. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat about the weather or how the road construction is taking forever. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the address and our names on the door. It’s a bit cramped when we get more than three people in here at once. We’ve got a small fan that rattles in the summer, but you get used to it after a few minutes. Dealing with the daily back and forth keeps us busy enough. It isn’t some big corporate setup, just us in Nehru Nagar trying to stay on top of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit there and wait. We usually close up around six or seven, depending on how much is left to do on the desk. It’s a quiet walk home from here.
