Accountant Ajay

My name is Ajay and I handle the books here in Sector 10. The office is in the Satadhar Industrial Estate, at number 56. It’s not the most glamorous place to work, being surrounded by factories and workshops, but it suits the kind of work I do. I spend most of my day looking at spreadsheets and tax forms. It gets quite dusty around here because of all the trucks moving in and out of the estate, so I have to wipe down my desk every morning. I started this on my own after working for a big firm where I was just a number. Here, I know all my clients by name. They are mostly small business owners from around the industrial area who need help with their filings. The walls are pretty bare, except for a calendar and some shelves for the files. I don't have a receptionist, so if I’m on the phone or out at the tax office, the door might be locked. I try to keep things simple for people. Taxes are confusing enough as it is, so I just explain things in plain words. It’s a lot of paper and a lot of numbers, but I like the logic of it. I’ve been in this same spot for years now and don't plan on moving. It’s a solid place to do honest work.
