Abro Balancing Machines P.Ltd is located at 12, Scindia House, right in the heart of Connaught Circus. It’s one of those old, iconic buildings in New Delhi with the high ceilings and thick walls that keep things relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Working in CP means we are surrounded by history and constant noise from the traffic circling around. Our office doesn't look like those modern glass cabins you see in the suburbs. It has a more traditional, lived-in feel with wooden cabinets and stacks of files that have been there for years. We focus on balancing machines, which is a very specific type of work that requires a lot of patience and precision. Often, you’ll find our technicians looking closely at gauges or adjusting rotors for hours. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the chaos of the streets just outside our door. We don’t have a fancy breakroom, so we usually just head out to one of the nearby stalls for a quick snack or coffee. There’s a lot of walking involved because of where we are situated. The elevators in these old buildings can be a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs to get things moving faster. It’s a small, dedicated group of us here. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have seen the city change quite a bit from our windows, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same.
