Aborn Industries

If you know the Gol Chakkar in Shakti Nagar, then you’re pretty close to where we are. Aborn Industries is on the first floor, right at 28/9. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but once you’re up the stairs, you’ll find us. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s an industrial setup, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty. There’s usually some kind of machine humming or someone banging on something. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and parts assembly here. It’s just a group of us who have been working together for years. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers, just a local unit trying to get the orders filled correctly. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and other days it’s a bit slower. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, someone just shouts from the back if the phone rings or if someone walks in the door. It’s a practical environment. We focus on the specs and the numbers mostly. The area around Shakti Nagar is always busy, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache with the traffic. But we like it here. It’s home for the business. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everything that leaves the first floor is done right. It keeps us on our toes.
