Aarkay Cargo Services

Aarkay Cargo Services is tucked away in the Mahipal Pur area, specifically at A-19/2. If you know this part of Delhi, then you already know it is always packed with traffic because we are so close to the airport. It is a very practical and strategic place to be for a cargo business. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy boxes and wooden crates that are either coming off a plane or getting ready to be sent to one. The office is relatively small and usually filled with stacks of documents and a few half-empty coffee cups. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing here. It is just a few of us making sure the freight moves along the way it is supposed to. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several big shipments arrive at the same time, but that is just how life is in Mahipal Pur. People are always in a huge hurry around here. We have been at this for a good bit now, so we know all the local streets and the back shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic. It is not glamorous work by any means, mostly just checking weights and printing out labels. We get a lot of different kinds of items passing through our hands every single day. On a typical afternoon, it is a lot of phone calls and waiting for the big trucks to pull up to the door. The weather in Delhi can be a real pain, especially in the heat, but we stay busy inside.
