A. K. ELECTRICALS is located right at 7 Mehar Chand Market in the Lodhi Colony area. If you have ever walked through this market, you probably know it has changed a lot, but our little shop has stayed pretty much the same. We have shelves filled with all sorts of electrical parts, from wires and switches to those tiny components that people always seem to lose. It is a bit of a squeeze inside, and sometimes we have to move a few boxes just to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We do not have air conditioning that works perfectly, so the door stays open most of the time to catch a breeze. Usually, there is a bit of dust on the higher shelves, but we know where everything is kept. We spend our time helping the locals with small repairs or selling supplies to contractors who stop by. We do not do any big advertising because most of our customers just live nearby or have been coming to us for years. It is a simple operation where we keep our accounts in a handwritten ledger and answer the phone whenever it rings. There is always some noise from the street outside, but that is just part of being in Mehar Chand Market. We are just regular people running a shop, and we try to be helpful to anyone who walks in with a broken lamp or a list of wiring needs.
