A CUBE OVERSEAS

A CUBE OVERSEAS is located right on the ground floor at Khasra No-284. It’s on the Main Road in Shalimar Village. Being on the ground floor means we see everything that happens on the street. It’s a lively spot with a lot of foot traffic and people shouting to each other across the road. Shalimar Village has a very specific feel to it, a bit old-fashioned but always moving. Our office is easy to walk into, which is nice, but it also means we get a lot of dust from the main road coming in whenever the door opens. We have a few desks and some storage for the overseas paperwork we handle. It’s a small operation, mostly just a handful of us keeping track of orders and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't get tangled up. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the honking from the Main Road. Lunch is easy because there are so many little food stalls right outside our door in the village. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors pretty well over the years—the guy who sells tea and the people at the hardware shop next door. It’s a practical place to work, and being on the ground floor makes it feel like we are part of the daily life of the neighborhood. We just do our bit and keep the files moving until the day ends.
