Alliance For An Energy Efficient Economy

We've been over at Nehru Place for a while now, specifically in the Skylark building at number 404. If you know Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here with all the traffic and the noise from the market. Our focus at Alliance For An Energy Efficient Economy is pretty straightforward. We spend our days looking at how energy gets used across the country. It isn't always glamorous work, mostly involving spreadsheets and talking to different people about saving power. The office at 60 Nehru Place stays quite busy with people coming in and out. Sometimes the lifts take forever, but that's just life in an older Delhi commercial hub. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, but we do look at things like appliances and buildings to see where electricity is being wasted. It's a lot of technical stuff mixed with regular meetings and some paperwork. The team here is mostly just regular folks who care about how much power the grid uses. Being in South Delhi helps because we are close to a lot of other offices we deal with. We don't have any fancy decor or anything like that. It's just a functional space where we get things done every day. Most mornings start with a quick cup of tea and figuring out which project needs attention first. It is just us working on efficiency stuff from our little corner of the city. We keep it simple and keep moving.
