Saamco Consultants Ltd. is located at 3-A-3 on Park Road in Lucknow. It is a busy area, and the street is usually lined with parked cars and people heading to different offices. Our place is quite simple and does not have any of those modern glass walls you see in newer parts of the city. We have been on Park Road for a while, and the office has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. There are stacks of documents and files because consultancy work involves a lot of reading and checking details. We spend a lot of time on the telephone or meeting people who need help with various things. It is not the kind of job that looks exciting, but it is steady work. Uttar Pradesh can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks. The staff here is small, and we mostly just talk about the work or what is for lunch. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It is just a practical office where we get through the daily pile of tasks. Most days are the same, starting with tea and ending with the sound of the traffic outside as we close up. We just provide our consulting services from this corner of Lucknow and do not try to make it sound like anything more than it is.
