The shop is tucked into Shop No. 7 of the Twinsland Apartments over in Sector-1, Nerul. Being right across from Dy Patil College means there is always a lot of energy and young people walking around. We open up early enough to see the first batch of students arriving for their morning classes. The apartment building itself is older, and everyone knows each other here. Inside the shop, things are stacked up pretty high on the metal shelves. We try to keep it organized but sometimes boxes get piled in corners when a new delivery comes in. It gets quite busy on the weekends when people have some time off work to look at their cars. We spend a lot of time just talking to locals who live in the same block. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked scooters and delivery bikes. Sometimes we just sit on the stools near the door and watch the traffic go by toward the college gates. It’s not a huge place, but it serves the purpose. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. There is a bit of a draft that comes through in the winter months which is nice. Most of our day is spent helping someone find a specific clip or a bulb that burned out. It’s steady work and we like being part of the Nerul community.
