Our place is over at Plot No. D-147 in the T. T. C. Industrial Area. If you know Shiravane Midc in Nerul, you know it gets crowded with trucks and tempos moving all day. It’s not the easiest place to park, that's for sure. We spend most of our time dealing with metal fins and heavy cooling units. It’s noisy and there is always a bit of a smell of solder and hot metal in the air. Gansons Radiators Pvt. Ltd. isn't some glass building. It’s a practical workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. Sometimes the fans are going full blast but it’s still hot inside. We’ve got a small crew and most of them have been living around Navi Mumbai for years. We start early because the traffic on the main road gets bad by nine. Lunch is usually shared in the corner of the shop floor. We don't have a cafeteria or anything. We just move some crates and sit down. The paperwork usually piles up on the small desk near the entrance, but we try to keep the shop floor organized. People stop by looking for parts or asking if we can fix something specific. We just tell them what can be done and how long it’ll take. It’s simple. No one here wears a tie. It’s just work pants and old shirts that don't mind a bit of rust or grease from the day.
