Victory Interior Decors

Our shop is over in Wahabpet, right near the Bhavani Residency building. It’s an easy landmark to find if you’re looking for us. We called it Victory Interior Decors because it sounded good at the time, but really, we’re just a small group of people who like making houses look a bit better. We have samples of wood, different paints, and some fabric swatches lying around the office. It’s usually a bit disorganized because we are always in the middle of a project. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and music. Instead, we have a lot of catalogs and some half-finished pieces of furniture. Most of our day is spent visiting sites or talking to carpenters. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure things fit. My phone is always full of photos of kitchens and wardrobes. Sometimes the dust from the sanding gets everywhere, but that’s part of the job. We know the families living in the nearby residency pretty well since we’ve done work for a few of them. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the cabinets straight and the paint even. It's a practical business. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on schedule, even when the labor is hard to find. It is a messy job but seeing a room come together is alright.
