Harsha Automotive Pvt. Ltd. sits right out on Survey No. 83-NH-5 in Kakutur. Being right on the national highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It is a big space where we keep all the vehicles and the workshop area. Most of us here have grease on our hands by ten in the morning and that is just fine. We deal with cars and the people who drive them, which keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. The sun gets quite strong out here in Kakutur so the shade of the workshop is where most of the work happens. We have got some desks and some computers to handle the paperwork but most of the real work is done with tools and spare parts. It is a practical kind of place. We do not spend much time on fancy talk or trying to look like a big corporate office. When a customer comes in with a problem, we just look at the engine and try to figure out what is wrong. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive and we just have to wait. We have a small team of mechanics and office staff who have been working together for a long time now. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the new models that come in. It is just a regular automotive business trying to get things done.
