Tata Communications

Out here in Vuchurivaripalem, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Tata Communications has a spot here, right in the Kokkupadu Post area within Kota Mandal. It’s a quiet place, mostly surrounded by fields and a few other small buildings. You wouldn't think a communications place would be tucked away like this, but here we are. There’s a lot of equipment to look after. Sometimes the local kids play cricket nearby, and we have to make sure the ball doesn't hit the gate. Inside, it’s mostly computers and wires. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a fancy lounge or free snacks. We bring our own lunch boxes and eat together during the break. The building is functional. It’s got four walls and a roof that doesn't leak much when it rains. We handle the tasks as they come in. Most of the people working here live in the surrounding villages, so we all know each other's families. It makes the day go by faster. Tata Communications in Kota Mandal isn't a massive tower; it's just a practical work site where people show up and do their jobs every single day. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the cables, it's a bit of a struggle.
