Swara Lahari Orchestra

We are Swara Lahari Orchestra and our place is at Door No 10-4-22 in Ranga Nayakula Peta. If you are from Nellore you probably know the Anakatta Road area pretty well. We are quite close to the Santhapeta Fish Market which means things can get pretty loud and busy around here especially in the mornings. It is an interesting spot to have a music business because there is always something going on outside our door. We spend a lot of time here practicing or just fixing up our instruments and gear for the next gig. Sometimes the humidity from being near the water makes the instruments act up a bit but we manage. The 524001 area is where most of us grew up so it feels right to be working here. People drop by the shop to talk about music for their weddings or local festivals and we usually just sit around with some tea and figure things out. It is not a very formal environment at all. We have got cables and speakers everywhere most days. Being near the fish market means it is easy to tell people how to find us because everyone knows where that is. We have been part of this community for a long time now and we just keep doing what we do which is playing music for the folks around here. It is a simple life but we like it. We focus on the music and let the rest take care of itself.
