Srinivasa Tractors Spares is right on the Main Road in Auto Nagar, very close to the bus stop. You can't really miss us if you’re waiting for a ride. We focus on tractor parts, which is important around here because of all the farming. The shop is usually full of farmers or mechanics looking for a specific bolt or a filter. It gets pretty dusty with the wind blowing off the main road, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. We have a lot of different items packed into a small space. It takes a while to learn where everything is kept. The bus stop brings a lot of foot traffic past our door. Sometimes people just pop in to escape the rain or the sun for a minute. We don't mind. We've been part of the Auto Nagar community for a long time. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We keep our records in big ledgers mostly. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here. When the harvest season comes, we are incredibly busy from dawn till late at night. The rest of the year is a bit steadier. We just try to have the right spares ready so a tractor isn't sitting idle in a field somewhere when it should be working.
