If you know where the Gandhi Statue is on Trunk Road, then you’ve probably walked right past Sri Lakshmi Balaji Tours & Travels. We are tucked into the J.V.R Municipal Complex at number 1. It’s a busy spot in Nellore, especially with all the traffic coming through the 524001 zip code area. Being right opposite the statue means there is always noise and people moving about. We’ve been operating out of this shop for a while now. The office isn't very big, but it fits what we need. We spend most of the day answering questions about bus routes or arranging cars for local trips. Sometimes the complex gets crowded, and we have to step out just to get some air. It’s a lot of paper logs and keeping track of who is going where. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the trips go off okay. The Trunk Road is always lively, which makes the days go by pretty fast. We see all kinds of people coming in, from students to families. We keep the registers updated and talk to the drivers when they come back from their long shifts. It’s just how things work here at Sri Lakshmi Balaji Tours & Travels. We stay open pretty late because that's when people are out on the street. It is just a normal office in a busy building.
