Sabah Chemicals

Sabah Chemicals is located at Plot Number 4 in Phase-2 of Auto Nagar. It is an industrial area, so there are always sounds of machinery and trucks around us. We work with various types of chemicals and liquids used in different industries. We have to be careful with how we store things, so the warehouse is organized in a very specific way. It isn't a place for visitors really. It’s mostly just us in our boots and gear moving barrels around. The air sometimes has a bit of a sharp smell to it, but you get used to it after working here for a few days. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the drums are sealed tight before they go out. It is a lot of physical labor mixed with making sure we follow the safety rules. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine in the back. We usually just drink water from the cooler and eat our lunch in the small break area. The team is small and we’ve worked together for a long time now. Auto Nagar can be a dusty place, especially in the dry season when the trucks kick up the dirt. We just keep our heads down and get the orders filled as they come in. Sometimes we stay late if a big shipment is going out the next morning. It is steady work and it keeps the lights on for us.
