Purini Chandachekharaiah

The name Purini Chandachekharaiah is quite a long one to write out every time, but it’s mine. I’ve been running this business in Nellore - 524001 for many years. It started out as just a small project, and then it grew into a full-time job. I didn't plan it that way, it just happened. My workshop is in a quiet part of Nellore where you can hear the birds in the morning. I like it that way. It gives me space to think and get my work done. We don't have a big team. It’s mostly just me and a few locals I’ve known for a long time. We trust each other, and that makes the work easier. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job, and other times we go home early if there’s nothing to do. We don't have strict corporate rules or anything like that. We just use our common sense. People know that if they come to see Purini Chandachekharaiah, they’ll get a straight answer. I don't like playing games with prices or promises. I just do what I can. It’s a modest living, but it’s a good one. We’ve stayed in Nellore because it’s home. The people here are friendly and they appreciate someone who works hard. That’s all we’re trying to do, really. Just stay busy and be helpful to those who need us.
