Panchallamma Hospital

We are located right across from the Oppolo Information Centre here in Fathekhanpet. The address is 23/1230, which is easy to find once you are on the main street. This hospital has been part of the Fathekhanpet neighborhood for quite some time now. It is a local place, so do not expect any shiny glass walls or fancy uniforms. We wear what is practical and focus on the patients. The building has seen a lot of use over the years. We have wards for people who need to stay and a small area for those just coming in for a quick visit. It is often a bit loud with family members visiting and the general bustle of a local hospital. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles. Our nurses and staff have been here forever and they know how to handle most things that come through the door. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental, but we fix it and keep going. We keep a small canteen area for tea and snacks, which is where most of us take our breaks. It is a busy life, especially during the monsoon when more people seem to get sick. We just try to keep things organized with our old filing system. It is a real place for real people. We do not make big promises, we just do the work that needs doing every single day.
