New Shankar Stores

New Shankar Stores is situated at 2-1-342 on Tippu Khan Street in the Kamasalapeta area. It is one of those old-fashioned streets where everyone knows each other and the buildings are built quite close together. The shop is not huge, but we have managed to fit a lot into the space we have. Working on Tippu Khan Street means dealing with narrow lanes and a lot of two-wheelers buzzing by throughout the day. We usually get the shop ready early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the street gets crowded. Kamasalapeta has a very specific feel to it, a bit traditional and very busy in the mornings. We have been here at this address for quite a while, and the walls probably need a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to get to it yet. Our counters are worn down from years of use, and the floor has its share of cracks, but it works for what we need. We mostly serve the families who live in the surrounding streets and have been coming to us for years. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get new stock in, but we have a system for where everything goes. It is just a normal, everyday shop where we try to keep things moving as best as we can without much fuss.
