We are based in Nellore, over at D. No. 23/1343, which is known as Roshan Manzil in the Dargamitta area. It is the Project Director’s office for the National Highways Authority Of India. Being in Andhra Pradesh, we deal with a lot of coastal road issues and heavy transit routes. The office itself is in a building that has a lot of character, but it gets pretty warm during the summer months. We have a dedicated team that looks after the highway stretches around this part of the state. There is always someone coming in with a query about land or a contractor checking on a payment status. We don't really go for the big corporate image or polished brochures. It’s more about sitting down and solving the problems that come up every day on a big construction project. We use a lot of local knowledge to get things done because every area has its own quirks and issues. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on our desks, but we catch up eventually. We just want to see the roads completed so people around here can travel easier. It’s honest work, and we don't feel the need to dress it up with any fancy language. We just do the job, deal with the heat, and go home like everyone else. It’s a long process, but we stay focused on it.
