National Dairy Development Board

Our office is located at 5-8-16 on Trunk Road in Vaddi Palem. It is a very functional place, mostly because we have to be ready for the early morning schedules that always come with dairy work. There is usually a lot of coming and going of vehicles and staff. Trunk Road is quite a main stretch for transport, so we see a lot of the local trucks passing by throughout the day. The building itself is straightforward, with plenty of space for the files and the equipment we need to monitor the different dairy activities. We don't really do retail sales here, so it’s not a shop for the general public to buy milk. It’s more of a hub for organizing and making sure the dairy production and distribution are handled properly across the area. The staff here has been around for a long time, and they know the local farmers and the transport routes by heart. We have a lot of meetings about logistics and checking the numbers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important for the dairy cycle in this region. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather makes the roads difficult, and that’s when things get a little bit stressful for everyone. But usually, it’s just a steady routine of paperwork and coordination. We keep our space clean and focus on the tasks at hand every morning.
