Our office is down in Muthukur, and we use P.O. Bag No. 1 for our mail. Being located near the port means there is always something happening. You can smell the salt in the air sometimes, and the wind can be pretty strong. It’s a big area, and our company handles a lot of the movement that goes on around the water. We aren't in a shiny city skyscraper; our setup is more practical for being out here. There’s a lot of space around us, which is nice compared to the cramped offices in the city. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to people on the docks. It’s a lot of coordination, and things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes a ship is late or the weather turns bad, and we just have to figure it out. Our team is used to the pace of port life. We wear casual clothes most days because there is no point in dressing up when you might end up walking near the loading zones. The office itself is full of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We’ve been out here in Muthukur for quite some time, and we’ve seen the port grow and change around us. It’s a unique place to work, even if it feels a bit isolated from the main town sometimes. We just focus on the task at hand and get through the day.
