Kamakshi Earth Movers

Our place is at 4/2/178 in Nellore Town. We are right on Trunk Road, which is convenient because everyone passes by here eventually. Being on the main road means it is never really quiet. There is always the sound of trucks and cars going past the front door. We handle earth moving equipment and it is heavy work. The sun gets really strong here in Nellore, so we usually start very early in the morning before it gets too hot to breathe. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the books and take calls from customers. We have several machines that we send out to different sites. It takes a lot of coordination to get it right. You have to make sure the trailers are ready and the drivers are there on time. Trunk Road can get jammed up sometimes, which makes moving the big gear a bit of a headache. We have lived in this town forever. We know the local builders and the guys doing the roadwork. It is a small world when you are in this trade. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just move dirt and rocks. People call us, we go out, we do the work, and that is it. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the spot. That is just part of it.
