Happy Dental Hospital

Being located on Brundhavanam Street means we are right in the thick of things in Nellore. We are directly opposite Dr Ramachandra Reddy Hospital, so the area is always full of people looking for medical help. It can get pretty hectic with the bikes and the pedestrians, but that’s just how Nellore is. Our hospital is more of a local clinic than a big institution, despite the name. We have a few rooms and a hallway where people wait their turn. The walls are a pale blue and we have some posters about teeth that have been up for years. We spend our mornings checking the equipment and making sure the water tanks are full. It gets very hot here, so the ceiling fans are always spinning. People come in with all sorts of issues, and we just do what we can to help them feel better. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with coffee or anything like that. People just sit and talk to each other while they wait. Sometimes the street noise is a bit much, but once you get into the work, you don't really notice it anymore. We see a lot of regular faces from the nearby houses. It feels good to be a known spot on the street. We just keep things moving, one person at a time, until it’s time to lock up for the night.
