Engineer

We are based out of Cherlopalem village in the Kovuru mandal of Nellore. Our office is set up at Kodandaramaiah E’s place. It’s a rural area, so you get a lot of fresh air and a lot of green fields around us. Working as an engineer here is a bit different than in the city because we are so connected to the land and the local community. The pace of life is definitely slower, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. There is always something that needs looking at, whether it is a small construction project or some technical help for the local farms. We don’t have a big team or a fancy office building. It is just a few of us working out of a room in the village. We have our computers and our maps, and that is about it. Most of our clients are people we see at the market or in the village square. We don't have any big missions or slogans to share. We just try to be helpful and do the engineering work correctly the first time. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take that time to walk around or talk to the neighbors. It is a very simple, honest way to work. We are happy being here in Nellore, doing what we know how to do without making a big deal about it. Each day is just about the work we have in front of us.
