Bobby General Shop

People usually find us easily enough here at 54-7-26 in Lakshmi Nagar. We have been running Bobby General Shop for quite some time now, and the building has seen better days, but it works for what we need. It’s mostly just a few of us here every day, stocking the shelves and making sure the basic stuff is available for the folks living around Nadimpalli. The morning rush is always a bit chaotic with people stopping by for milk or whatever they forgot to buy the day before. We don't have fancy displays or those bright lights you see in the big supermarkets in the city. Our floor is just plain concrete and sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a rattling noise when it's on high speed. There are crates stacked near the entrance most afternoons because the delivery trucks come by then. It gets a bit hot in the summer, so we keep the door wide open. Most of our regulars know exactly where everything is, so they just walk in and grab what they need without asking much. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay organized, even if the desk looks like a mess of papers sometimes. It is just a regular life here, selling everyday things to the people we see all the time. Nothing more to it than that, really. We just keep the shop open and hope the weather stays decent.
