You can find Basha Cement Iron & Hardware at 932-85 in Timmanaidupeta. It’s been our main spot for a long while now. We deal with some pretty heavy stuff here, mostly bags of cement and iron rods that take a bit of muscle to move around. The yard gets a bit messy when the rain comes, but we manage to keep the stock dry enough. Timmanaidupeta isn't a huge place, so we know most of our regular customers by their first names. They come in for a few kilos of nails or a stack of iron bars for a new wall they’re building. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It’s a hardware store, so it smells like metal and old dust, which is fine by us. We spend most of the day loading and unloading, making sure the counts are right. Sometimes we sit out front when the sun goes down a bit and talk to the neighbors. There isn't anything complicated about how we do things. We just sell what people need for building their houses. We don’t bother with big slogans or anything like that because the work speaks for itself. It’s a living, and it keeps the family fed while helping the town grow a little bit at a time.
