Babu Buttons Industry & Ruby Granites

It’s a bit of a strange mix here at 26-2-117 Tyagaraja Nagar Vedayapalem, having both the button business and the granite yard together. This place has been in the family for a long time. Over in one section, we’ve got the smaller machines, and then out back is where the Ruby Granites side of things happens. Vedayapalem is a busy neighborhood, so we have to be careful with the noise early in the morning. We don’t want the neighbors getting upset with us. Most of the time, we’re just busy sorting through orders or moving stone around the yard. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with the trucks coming into the Tyagaraja Nagar area, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you can find us when you need us. The office is small and filled with samples of both buttons and stone, which looks kind of funny if you aren't used to it. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the regulars who come by to check on their orders. The granite side is heavy work, and the button side is all about the little details. It keeps the day interesting because you’re never doing the same thing for too long. We just handle what comes in and try to keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
