Assistent Professor

This is the office of the Assistent Professor over at A. Bhakthavachala Prakasam Engineering College. You can find us on O. V. Road in Kandukur. It’s out in the Prakasam district, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the city. Being an engineering college, there is always some kind of noise or project happening on campus. The students keep us busy with all their questions and their various lab experiments. It is a bit of a drive, but the environment is good for focusing on teaching and studies without too many distractions. We have been here for some time now. Most of the day is spent either standing in the classroom or sitting at the desk grading papers. It isn't always easy keeping up with all the new technology that comes out every year, but we try to stay current so the students get something useful. The hallways can get quite loud between classes when everyone is rushing around. We have a small office where we keep all the textbooks and student files in big stacks. Sometimes we have to stay back late to help a student who is really struggling with a tough concept. It is just part of the job and we don't mind it. Kandukur is a quiet enough place to live and work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the curriculum is followed properly and the students graduate on time.
