Anjaneya Sea Foods

Down in North Rajupalem, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Our place, Anjaneya Sea Foods, is located at No.- 6-122, A. It’s right in the middle of the village area of Kodavaluru. Most of the folks working here have grown up around these parts. We spend our days dealing with whatever the local catch brings in. The building at No.- 6-122, A isn't anything you'd notice from the road, just a simple structure where we keep the sea foods cold and ready. There is a lot of ice involved in our work, so the floors are almost always wet and a bit slippery. We have to be careful when we are moving the heavy bins around. The air in North Rajupalem usually has that salty tang to it. We start work when it's still dark out because the morning is the most important part of the day for sea food. By the time the sun is high over Kodavaluru, we are usually halfway through our main tasks. It can be a messy job, and your clothes end up smelling like fish no matter how much you wash them. That’s just part of life at Anjaneya Sea Foods. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, mostly just the workspace and the storage areas. It’s a plain way of living, but it suits us just fine and we keep at it day after day.
