We are based in Paloda at a spot called Holi Chowk, working from the premises of Dhanpal Panchal. Being in a place like Paloda means everyone knows who we are, and we like that sense of community. Our office is right where all the action happens at Holi Chowk, so there is always something going on outside our window. We handle export tasks, which often means we are the middleman between local producers and international buyers. Our office is not much to look at—just some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do not have air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze and some old fans to keep us cool during the summer months. Sometimes the logistics of moving things out of a place like Paloda can be a real headache, especially when the weather is not cooperating.
