New Janta Tea

Our shop is right at Plot No- 607 on M G Road here in Mhow. It’s a dusty road and there’s always something going on outside, whether it's the motorcycles zipping by or the cows wandering across the street. We spend most of our time dealing with big sacks of tea that come in from different places. You can smell the dry leaves the moment you step through the door. It’s not a very big space so we have to be careful how we stack everything. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it's on high but it helps keep the heat away during the summer months. Most of us have been working here for years and we know exactly where every blend is kept without even looking. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big office, just some old wooden counters and a scale that’s seen better days. People come in from all over the neighborhood to get their supplies for the week. Sometimes we sit on the back crates when there aren't any customers around. It’s a simple life really, just measuring out leaves and talking to the people who stop by. We’ve watched the road change a lot over the years but our little spot stays pretty much the same. It’s just an honest place to find tea without any of the extra fluff you get in the big cities.
