M.P. Stone

M.P. Stone is located on Station Road, right in Shri Market. Being near the station means the area is always buzzing with people and vehicles. It is a very traditional market setting. We have a modest space where we keep our stock of stones. Most of our day is spent greeting people who are passing by or looking for specific stone for their construction work. Because we are in a busy market, space is a bit tight, so we have to be very careful with how we stack our materials. We do not have a large factory here, just a place to show and sell our inventory. You can hear the trains and the street vendors all day long. It is a lively place to work. We have been here for a good while, and we have seen the market change over the years. We keep our records in simple books and do not bother with much technology. If you come by, you will likely find us sitting on a stool near the front, ready to chat about what you need. We are not looking to become a giant corporation. We are happy being a staple in Shri Market. It is straightforward work, and we like the direct connection we have with the people in this town. Some days are slow, but usually, there is enough to keep us busy until we lock up.
