Tephra Infotech

If you look for Tephra Infotech, you will find us on the first floor of Shubh Laxmi Complex, right on Police Station Road. It's S-126. Being near the police station means it’s always a bit active outside. Up here on the first floor, it is mostly us surrounded by computers and random cables. We do a lot of tech stuff, fixing things that stop working or setting up systems for people who aren't really into computers. It can get pretty quiet when everyone is focused on a screen. We have been here for some time and the complex has seen better days, but our office is comfortable enough. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who like tech. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought and we end up staying late. There is usually a half-empty box of hardware sitting in the corner. We don't do much advertising; most people just hear about us from someone else in the area. It is a practical way to run a business I think. We handle the software problems and the hardware bits too. We just try to get the machines running again so people can go back to their work. That's the main thing we do here every day. It's nothing fancy but it's what we know how to do best, so we just stick with it and keep the fans running. We usually have some old monitors stacked by the door waiting for the scrap guy.
