Narayan Motors

Narayan Motors is right at the Takiya Chauraha in Safipur Tehsil. It’s a busy little crossroads where everyone seems to pass through at some point during the day. We are located near the S V M Inter College, so we see the students walking by in their uniforms every morning and afternoon. It adds a bit of life to the area, though the noise from the traffic at the chauraha is usually louder than anything else. Being in the district, we get a lot of local farmers and people from the nearby villages bringing in their bikes or small motors. The shop is a bit cluttered because we hate throwing away parts that might be useful later. You’ll find old engines sitting in the corner and tools spread out over the benches. We don't really have a waiting room, so people usually just hang out by the entrance or grab a tea from the stall nearby while we look at their machines. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it works for us. The college is our main landmark, and most people know the way to the Takiya intersection anyway. We don't spend money on advertising because the word usually gets around just fine by itself. The work is dirty and the hours are long, but that is just the reality of running a motor shop in a place like Safipur. We keep the doors open as long as there is work.
