Makwan A Manufacturing Co.

Our place, Makwan A Manufacturing Co., is located at Plot No 144 in the Chitra G.I.D.C. area. We are right near the post office, which makes it easy for people to find us if they haven’t been here before. The workshop is a busy place most of the week. We do a lot of manufacturing here, mostly focusing on the orders that come in from local businesses. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of cutting or welding in the background. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their role. Usually, the day starts early before the sun gets too hot. By noon, the shed is quite warm, so we keep the big doors open for some air. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the wall. Sometimes the mail gets dropped off at the post office and we walk over to get it. It’s a practical setup. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture or decorations. Everything goes back into the machines and the materials we use. If a customer comes in, we usually just talk right there on the floor. It’s easier that way to show them what we are working on. We’ve been in Chitra for a while and seen the other plots change hands, but we’re still here at 144. It’s just how we do things. We keep it simple and get the work done as it comes without any fuss.
