Thriveni Earthmovers (P) Ltd.

Our spot at Thriveni Earthmovers (P) Ltd. is out in Kandarasingh, which is a bit of a drive through the Ranpur area of Nayagarh. It is a lot greener out this way compared to some of the bigger mining hubs, but we still deal with plenty of dirt and rocks. The office is located in the Basudia post office zone. It is a small team we have here in Orissa, mostly people who grew up around these parts. We don't have much in the way of fancy office furniture. Most of the room is taken up by maps of the sites and maintenance logs for the earthmovers. In the monsoon season, the roads around Kandarasingh can get pretty tricky, so we have to plan our movements carefully so we don’t get stuck in the mud. There isn’t a lot of traffic out here, except for our own trucks and the occasional tractor. We keep things pretty informal. If someone needs to talk about a job, they just walk in and find whoever is sitting at the desk. We don't really have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. It’s a quiet life until the machines start up in the morning. Then it gets loud and busy until the sun goes down. We just focus on the practical side of things, like keeping the engines running and making sure we hit our targets for the week without any trouble. Everyone here knows what they are doing and we just get on with it together.
