Mohanty Dramatic Trading Co. is located in Itamati, right near the Itamati Bus Stand. Being so close to the bus stand means there are always people moving around and plenty of noise from the buses coming and going. Our shop has been a part of this area for a long time. We deal with various items and equipment related to local performances and events. It’s an interesting line of work because you never know who might walk in needing something for a play or a celebration. The space is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for in the back. We aren't a big chain store; it’s just a local operation where we know most of our customers by name. We spend our days organizing the inventory and talking to folks who are planning their next big event in Itamati. The shop isn't super modern, but it has everything we need to run things properly. We try to keep our doors open for anyone who needs a hand with their supplies. Dealing with the public near the bus stand can be tiring, but it keeps life interesting and we meet all sorts of travelers. We just focus on providing what's needed and keeping the business going year after year without making a lot of noise about it. It’s just how we do things here, and we like the rhythm of it.
