Jindal Stainless Ltd

Our place is in Kunjabanagarh, which is part of Daspalla in the Nayagarh district of Orissa. We are set up with Jogeswar Mishra. It’s a nice area, a bit tucked away, but we keep busy with the Jindal Stainless Ltd work here. We handle a lot of the local details for the steel business from this office. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure everything is in order. We spend our time on the phone or working through files. It’s not a high-tech office with a lot of flashing lights. It’s more of a place where we have a cup of tea and figure out the day’s schedule. The locals in Daspalla know where we are if they need anything. We don’t really do any big advertising. Word of mouth and just being here every day is how people find out about us. We try to be helpful and straightforward with everyone. The work can be a bit repetitive, checking the same kinds of documents over and over, but it has to be done right. We like the pace of life here in Nayagarh. It’s quiet enough that you can think, but there’s always enough steel business to keep us on our toes. We are just local staff doing what needs to be done to keep the business running smooth in this corner of the state.
