Doaba Marbels & Tiles

Our shop, Doaba Marbels & Tiles, is found on Rahom Road. We are quite close to the Blood Bank, which is the easiest way to explain to people where we are if they get turned around. The road stays pretty busy with people coming and going from the medical facilities nearby. We deal in both tiles and marble, so the yard is a mix of crates and big slabs leaning against the walls. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything sorted so that we don't break anything when we are looking for a specific pattern. The staff here is just a small group of us who have been doing this for years. We don't have a mission statement or any of that talk, we just show up and sell stone. Most of our days are spent checking the inventory and helping people load their small trucks or rickshaws. The tiles can be fragile so we have to be careful with the boxes. The area around Rahom Road is growing, so there are always new buildings going up nearby which keeps us on our toes. We have a simple desk where we do the paperwork and the rest of the place is just for the stock. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is.
