Kumar Rakesh Architect

Our office, Kumar Rakesh Architect, is situated in Vpo Katt, which is close to Behram. It is a quiet spot in the district, far away from the noise of the bigger cities. We have been doing architecture work here for many years. Our setup is simple and practical. We have a few drawing tables and the necessary tools to create building plans. Most of our days are spent talking to local folks who want to build a house or a shop. We take their ideas and try to figure out the best way to make them real. It involves a lot of sketching and erasing. We do not have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just want to do a good job on the drawings we are given. People around here know us and just drop by when they have a question. It is a very informal atmosphere. We might be having tea when you walk in, and we will probably offer you some too. We also spend time visiting building sites to make sure things are going according to the plans we made. It is a lot of walking around in the sun sometimes. We like being part of the community here in Vpo Katt. It is honest work that keeps us connected to the land and the people around us. We just keep doing what we know how to do.
