Shivalik Productions

Shivalik Productions is right on Garhshnkar Road. It is a main road, so there is always a lot of movement outside our front door. You can’t really miss the place if you are driving through this part of town. The street is full of buses, cars, and the occasional tractor. We hear the noise all day, but it just becomes part of the background after a while. Our work area is quite basic. We have some equipment tucked into the corners and chairs that have been around for years. The floor is concrete and we make sure to sweep it every morning to get rid of the road dust. Garhshnkar Road is a long stretch of tarmac, and we like being here because it feels like we are in the middle of things. There is a small corner shop next to us that sells cold drinks and biscuits. We go there often when we need to step away from the work for a bit. It is a lot of sitting and focusing on the small details. We don’t have any bright signs or fancy lights outside. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so, and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. We have a large window that faces the street. Watching the people go by is a nice way to spend a few minutes when things get stressful. We have a messy desk in the back where we keep all our tools and extra cables.
