Dharamsheela Devi Multi Speciality Hospital Foundation

Our foundation is set up in Gobinpur, within the Nawada district. It’s a village-based hospital, located right in the Tola-Gobindpur area. Because we are out in the village, we see a lot of people who might otherwise have to travel a long way for a doctor. The building is a sturdy structure that stands out a bit in the local surroundings. We call it a multi-speciality place because we try to cover a lot of different health needs under one roof. It isn't always easy keeping everything running in a rural spot like this, but we manage. The staff consists of people who really know the area. We don't have a corporate office in a big city; our office is right here where the patients are. The pace can be slow one minute and then very fast the next when an emergency comes in. We do our best to stay prepared. The neighbors know us well, and we know them. It’s a community-focused kind of place. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people hear about us from their cousins or friends who came here before. We just provide a place for healing and getting checked out. It’s a straightforward operation. We keep the doors open and try to help anyone who walks up from the village. The road out here can be dusty, and we don't have all the shiny gadgets of a city center, but we do the best we can with what we've got.
