Younsters Fashion Studio

Younsters Fashion Studio is right in the Dhobiwad area of Navsari. It’s an old part of town, and the streets can be narrow, but that’s where we’ve always been. The building is simple, nothing like the big malls you see in the city. We spend most of our time working on different designs and checking the stitching on the garments. Navsari is a quiet place compared to Surat, but it has its own rhythm. We get locals coming in who have known us for years. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello and don't even buy anything. We don’t mind. It’s a community thing. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always cleaning the counters. We don’t have a website or a big social media page. We just rely on the sign outside and people telling their neighbors about us. My father started this work, and now I handle most of the daily tasks. It’s a lot of sitting and standing, back and forth all day. In the evenings, the street gets lively with food stalls nearby. The smell of snacks sometimes makes it hard to focus on work. We try to finish everything before it gets too dark. It’s a humble way to make a living, but it’s what we know. Being in Dhobiwad feels like home to us, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
