Waheed Carpets

Down on Chauri Road in Pureshyam, you will find us at Waheed Carpets. It is a busy road, and we have been part of it for quite a while. The area is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in. Our place is full of rolls of carpets and the smell of wool and dyes. It is not a fancy setup at all. We have stacks of rugs everywhere, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit down. That is just how it is when you are dealing with bulky things. We spend most of our time looking at patterns and talking to the people who do the weaving. It is a lot of back and forth to get things right. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We like the personal touch of a local business. Most of our neighbors are also in trade, so there is a lot of shouting across the street and sharing news. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road a bit of a mess, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just rely on people knowing who we are and what we do. If you walk into our shop, you will probably see us drinking tea and going over the ledger. It is a very traditional way of doing things, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is simple and honest.
